YOU Are The Most Important Thing On Dance Jams
DanceJam is "like MySpace with guardrails," - Arone, CEO.
Hammer - "It looks like technology has finally caught up with my vision.","As dancers we always like to add ... different flavors to our style," he says. "What I think it would do is broaden your style. With the advent of DanceJam, you'll be able to see the emerging dances as they're happening."
"From end-to-end, dancing goes so far," he says. "You know, from street dancing to Broadway dancing to modern to jazz to tap to cheerleading"

MC Hammer Has A Technological Side To His Talents
Hammer has since out grown his Hip Hop celebrity and has become a shining light to many in his very community oriented endeavors. Things like his LookUniversity.com bringing attention to the huge problem of the Homeless, to speaking out to bring out 'boys' home from the war. Hammer has most certainly 'grown up' and focused on more than just The Top 40.
One of MC Hammers (aka, Stanley Kirk Burrell)additions to his already long list of take notice talents is his technological savvy. What brought this path of ingenuity on? A baseball game.
He met a soon-to-be friend in Ron Conway, a long time Silicon Valley investor at a baseball game of all places about 7 years ago. Ron has since invested along with a small group of others about $1 million into DanceJam.com . What does that tell you you should expect from this rave launch? Exactly!
"I expect him to integrate all his knowledge into this Web site," said Conway. Ron has been tutoring him in the ways of technology ever since. "He is the lightning rod for this whole thing."
Hammer, 45, started poking around Silicon Valley while he was still selling millions of records. He often hung out at computer makers like Silicon Graphics Inc. and Apple Inc., hoping to learn more about how technology might help his music career.
"There is no high-tech lingo or business strategy that you can talk that is above my head," Hammer was quoted as confidently saying during an interview. "I breathe this stuff."
"We really learned a lot from Hammer. He is the most entrepreneurial individual I have ever met," said Benioff, a man whose San Francisco-based company is now worth $7 billion. Quite a compliment for Mr. Hammer wouldn't you say?
We are all looking forward to this new trend to jump up and grab the brass ring in about 2 weeks give or take a day or two. High hopes, high expectations, and massive audiences and voters. Let's get dancin'!
